Marco has overall responsibility for the growth and management of the industry-leading logistics platform, Crossbay. At the time of writing, Crossbay Fund I is one of Europe’s largest pure play urban-logistics portfolios, attracting capital from some of the world’s largest investors. Marco leads a team of over 40 people on the sourcing, acquisition, management and development of logistics assets across Europe.

He joined from Logicor, Blackstone’s pan-European logistics portfolio which exited to the China Investment Corporation for €12.5bn. With Marco as director of acquisitions, Logicor owned and operated a 147 million sq. ft portfolio across 17 European countries. 70% of it was concentrated in the UK, Germany, France and Southern Europe. Marco oversaw over €2bn of investments for the platform.

Marcus Meijer is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of MARK and chairs the Investment Committees for our funds.

Marcus has extensive corporate finance, real estate and investment experience – originating, executing and existing single asset, portfolio, and non-performing loan transactions across the United States, the UK and Continental Europe.

Marcus has been in the real estate investment industry for almost 30 years. His career began in 1995 at Hines, working in both Chicago and London, before joining the real estate private equity team at Goldman Sachs in 1997.

A fluent English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, and Dutch speaker, Marcus graduated with a Masters degree in Law. He received his MBA from INSEAD.

Sanjiv Raykundalia joined MARK in 2007 as Chief Financial Officer. Sanjiv oversees financial and performance reporting to investors, compliance matters, and the provision of accounting supervision and structuring in relation to new acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and fund creation. Sanjiv is a Chartered Accountant with experience in both the real estate industry and public practice.

Previously, Sanjiv worked at JER Partners in London as Director of Finance. Sanjiv was a member of JER Partner’s European Investment Committee. Prior to JER Partners, he was Corporate Controller for Tishman Speyer Properties and Senior Manager with Deloitte. Sanjiv received a B.A. (Hon) in Accountancy from Birmingham City University (previously Birmingham Polytechnic) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Matthew Ammirati is Chief Marketing Officer and a Managing Director at MARK. Having joined in 2019, he focuses on branding, digital, social media and marketing initiatives for the business and investments. Prior to joining, Matthew worked with Newell Brands from 2017 to 2018 as Head of Marketing eCommerce and Chief Advisor to the CEO of eCommerce, and previously with Ammirati (subsequently renamed Resource/Ammirati) from 2001 to 2017 as Chief Executive Officer and Founder. Matthew graduated from the School of Visual Arts with a BFA Graphic Design and Marketing.

Michelle Doran is Crossbay’s Chief Client Officer and a Managing Director at MARK.
